This review is actually for a refurbished version of the TV I recently purchased. I was a little nervous buying a refurbished TV, but am very happy with the purchase. I am still going to get the extended warranty for this TV, but if you get this TV for <$500, check out the prices that Vizio will provide you for an extended warranty - they are pretty amazing. And they do offer this service for refurbished TVs too.Once you adjust the picture settings, the picture quality is real good. I don't have too much experience doing this myself, but Google it and you'll find a lot of other people's recommendations. If you are concerned that this TV is only a 720p, the TV also accepts 1080i inputs - the highest quality the cable providers send video at anyways. To be honest, I can't tell much of a difference. I use this TV in my bedroom and usually view it from about 10-12ft away. I'm pretty happy with the audio - nothing special, but nothing to really complain about.The remote is real basic, but easy to use. I wish there were buttons to easily switch between the aspect ratios and different picture modes, but no complaints other than that. I use the ATT Uverse remote anyways. It's not listed by ATT, but the remote code for this TV is 1343. You can't switch between inputs with the ATT remote though.One of the things that I didn't like about the TV was that all the inputs in the back face downwards and are hard to get to. It shouldn't be too big of a deal considering that I don't have to go back there too often. The side inputs are a little further behind the TV too.Overall, I'm happy with the Vizio and would recommend it to anyone looking for a budget LCD.
