The picture quality, design, and quality of the construction are all world class. This is not a value brand TV. It rivals Samsung and LG (probably made in the same plant in China!) Super thin too. Haier (Chinese brand) is investing heavily in in design and enginering for the US market abd desires to be a big league contender, and they don't want to start out on the wrong foot with consumers. This TV is a great start.
