Got this tv on another site (Dell @ Home) for under $450 brand new, my first big screen lcd tv & I'm in love lol. Sound from the speakers is fine compared to other reviews of other products, namely Samsung, sound being less than adequate. This is fully adjustable in the menu as is the picture quality. TV is backlit so can adjust that too; watched Avatar & saw creatures I never noticed before. Everything is crisp & sharp, the colors jump off the screen into the room, couldn't be more pleased. Works great with my blu ray, dvd, dvr & HD Dish! Am getting a Acoustabar 520 & will wall mount it just cuz I can. Will complete the setup with a digital optical cable. Have seen this brand for computer monitors, so wasn't sure about tv's, there's not many reviews on Google etc, but at that price couldn't turn it down!! So far, Haier is tops in my house.
